Hi, I’m Rick!

As a Visual & Graphic Designer based and home grown in Orange County, California, I have continued to nourish a strong skillset in branding, instructional and visual design in the industry, with aspirations to grow more in the motion and UI/UX field. My curiosity and enthusiasm began through browsing forums online as a kid, such as DeviantArt, and being enamored by all types of different art and design. It was the innocent feeling of excitement and awe that pushed me to pursue design into a career and give back those feelings to others. I always try to ensure that the best way to approach design is by always putting your audience and clients at the forefront, to be able to give form and life to design that speaks directly to them whether it was through experimentation, learning, or executing various design techniques. 

Besides design, I strive to enact that same philosophy of giving back through other mediums such as compiling music. I love to compile relaxing and stress-reducing playlists, such as Jazz, Lo-Fi or Smooth Synthwave beats for people who want to unwind after a long day. Hearing feedback that people love and enjoy the music I compile brings joy and motivation to continue this personal hobby of mine. Other hobbies include photography and editing videos whenever I have the time!
